New PSP Go
Although this is rather old, this is a blog about giving you news and my opinion on it, so deal with it (and yes, I knew about this a long time ago too).
Sony has yet again brought us another handheld videogame console. I'm not talking about a new type of handheld console than the PlayStation Portable (PSP), but more of a redesigned version of it. On October first, 2009, North American and European territories will have a new console to play games with: the PSP Go (Model PSP-N1000), a 158 g / 5.6 oz newer version of the PlayStation. The PSP Go was revealed prior to E3 2009.
Sony had announced that the PSP Go will not be a replacement to the PSP 300, although its design and function is different from the PSP 3000. According to Kotaku, Sony has stated that the PSP 3000 will still be supported and its manufacturing & sales will be continued.
Although not a replacement of the PSP 3000, it is often said as a successor to the PSP 3000 due to its distinguishable designs and improved features such as:
- 33% lighter and 56% smaller than the PSP 1000
- 16% lighter and 35% smaller than the PSP 3000
- 3.8" 480x272 LCD (previous PSP models had 4.3", so in other words, PSP Go is smaller)
- The screen slides up to reveal the control buttons
- No longer includes the UMD slot
- Comes with 16 GB of internal flash memory (stores everything including other media)
- Supports Bluetooth connectivity
- All current downloadble games for previous PSP models are compatible with the PSP Go
- Can be connected to Bluetooth-enabled phones.
- PSP Go enables users to operate XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) during paused gameplay
To be honest, I never owned a PSP 1000 or PSP 3000, however I did played it countless times, but I must confess that I barely remembered the gaming experience I got when I played it, so if I just so happened to get a PSP Go, I'm not sure if I can compare the difference. But I can say that both of them will definitely be fun regardless of selected game (alright, maybe I was exaggerating on the last part).

R.I.P Michael Jackson
I wasn't really much a fan of him, but I still thought of him as a great singer. I never listened to his songs (aside from Weird Al Yankovic's parodies), but if I heard it anywhere, at anytime, I'd always stop for awhile, just to listen to it, and move on a few minutes later. I regret not taking notice of him, as now after his death on June 25, 2009.
Michael Jackon, who died on that day in Los Angeles, California, United States, suffered cardiac arrest in his rented mansion and was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. (21:26 UTC). Even after doing research, and managing to finding out his time of death, I'm actually quite stumped at his religion. I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Locals from my neigbourhood says that his a Muslim (in other words, his religion is Islam). But I couldn't get any proof. The closest I got to was when a news report regarding a police raid on Neverland caused him to turn to the Nation Of Islam (NOI) for security.
Anyways back to Michael Jackson, I'm actually really sad over his death, even though I wasn't much of a fan. His death caused me to go online, surfing countless amounts of sites, listening to his music. I never knew that he had so many singles. I downloaded them onto my phone (please don't sue) and played them aloud around the neighbourhood. I don't think anyone saw it as distracting. And as I listened to his songs, I wondered, "What happened to his children?". Like I said before, I wasn't really a fan, but I knew him well enough that he had three children. They weren't even teenagers yet, so I suspect them to be slightly traumatised (or something of the sort).
Turns out, they were really sad, sad enough to throw away their shame and cry on public television at Michael's funeral. How brave of Michael's daughter. Now we all know that Michael was accused of "touching" 13 year old Gavin Arvizo. In my opinion, I don't think he really did do any sort of things to him. Anyways, although he was accused of that, didn't his dauther said he was the best father you could ever imagine? The exact words said were "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much."
Other than Michael Jackson's life, lets talk about his estate. He owns 2,700-acre (11 km2) of land for pete's sake! And whats more surprising is that he made a whole themepark on it! Now I can't confirmed this, but I heard that entrance was free and only neighbours, friends and relatives are allowed in. If it really was free, I got only one thing to say: HIS DAMN RICH! And before you say anything, yes, I know he has a huge dept on him, don't remind me. Its sad to see someone so succesfull to be in a huge dept.
Now since this post is about his death, I'm not going further to talk about his life story, and how he changed from black to white. To quote his song, "It don't matter if you're black or white". And back to topic, to just keep it short and sweet, I'm sad over his dead, and I hope everyone else is too (except for you, Gavin Arvizo). And now to end the post, R.I.P Michael Joseph Jackson, 1958-2009.
